ABOUT THE AUTHOR…
He was born in a small house in 1929 in the equally small town of Payne, Ohio. Six months later, his parents moved to Ft. Wayne, Indiana, where he grew up – almost! He graduated from school in Westwood, California. In 1950 he was drafted to the US Army where he served part of the time with Military History as a combat artist in Korea. After his discharge from the service, he spent most of his career years in the Forest Products industry. He moved on to his boat in Long Beach for four years to do some writing before moving to Oregon in 1991. He now divides his time between the Oregon Coast and Southern Baja, Mexico. The author is still almost grown up.
